This webinar aims to provide early career researchers an understanding of the general grant writing process and tips on how to create a focused grant proposal with and how to improve the quality of their grant writing.
The aims of this webinar are to:
- familiarize the participants with components of the grant writing process
- develop core content sections of a grant proposal
- understand core grant management and budget aspects in grant applications
Speaker:
Monika Sobocan, MD is a medical researcher and educator dividing her time between the University Medical Centre Maribor, Slovenia and the Queen Mary University of London, UK. She is a medical doctor with over 5 years of experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research. She has communicated the findings of her research in high impact-factor journals. She is highly involved in providing and evaluating medical education and serves on committees for technology enhanced learning in Europe. Her scientific interests are research in preventive and predictive medicine within the disciplines of oncology and female health. Monika has been recognized for her scientific work by a prestigious national fellowship for women in science.
