We will focus on why it is important, strategies for reaching different audiences, and techniques for communicating research so that the public understands the meaning, importance, and applicability of your research. |
Taylor & Francis Peer Review BootcampIntroducing Research Development & Outreach (RDO) latest pilot initiative: the Peer Review Bootcamp. This 3-day boot camp is a highly interactive, workshop-style event and participants will require some preparation. This boot camp spilt across two subject fields will provide a deeper understanding of the peer review process, how to access a paper and more. It is a great opportunity for researchers to network with other researchers in their field! Certificates are provided and spaces are limited! |

These three-day programs are designed to provide guidance on how to assess a paper and write a well-structured and thoughtful peer review report. The programs will run across three two-hour sessions, including activities that provide the opportunity to apply what you are learning. We will finish the two boot camps with panel discussions featuring editors of key HSS journals. |
